Terms & Conditions
Booking Information
CORONAVIRUS – OUR GUARANTEE TO YOU.
We have amended our terms and conditions that if the Government imposes new restrictions on travel and you are unable to take your holiday due to these restrictions, your total deposit or balance paid will either be refunded in full or credited against another holiday for an equivalent week in the future. There will be no admin charge or cancellation fees.
This applies to all holidays booked directly with us, we cannot determine what conditions any of the Online Travel Agencies (AirBNB, Booking.com etc.) may decide and what fees they may charge you.
All other cancellations for any reason will fall under our original TERMS AND CONDITIONS below.
BOOKINGS and PAYMENT
All bookings must be made by people aged over 18 years or over. Initially bookings may be provisional – by telephone, or email. No booking is confirmed until a 25% deposit has been received. When you submit an online booking, you will receive an automatically generated summary by email address you provide on the booking form. This does not form a contract between us. A contract only arises when your booking is subsequently confirmed in writing via a letter of confirmations sent to you by email or post.
Our preferred method of payment is BACS bank transfer. We also accept credit/debit card payments or cheques payable to Mrs S.A Chesters. Prices are inclusive of VAT. The price includes all heating, electricity, bed linen, bath and hand towels, tea towels, basic cleaning materials, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets.
- a 25% deposit will be taken at the time of booking.
- Full payment is due 30 days before the start of your holiday.
- If you need to cancel your booking, a full refund will be made as long as you make the cancellation outside 14 days of the start of the holiday. If your cancellation is caused by government movement restrictions then a full refund or a credit towards another holiday will be made right up until the start of your holiday.
- Bookings made within 30 days of the start of your holiday require full payment to be made at the time of the booking.
INSURANCE
No-one wants to pay for a holiday they cannot take, so please do insure. It is worth getting insurance for unexpected events, you may even be covered by an add on with your bank account. Insurance is an inexpensive safeguard against holiday cancellation.
